Desire to host club international events

Because the epidemic situation on the Asian continent unfortunately is still strong and have no intention of giving up, for the second consecutive time the Asian Champions league together with the AFC Cup will kick off in one location. The new 2021 season for both competitions is commencing from 07 April, and one candidate hopes to get selected as a kind host.

Last Monday Hong Kong is officially introduced as a bidding city to welcome 300 international players, for games to be played in April and May (qualifiers and group stages). If chosen, all footballers and officials may skip the mandatory quarantine of 21 days that are destined for all foreigners upon arrival. Also Buriram in Thailand has shown interest to stage all those duels from the two competitions, but until now there is no formal confirmation that documents were submitted.

As the fourth month is approaching fast, the final decision have to be made soon.
