Start of the European championship

Besides Copa America Centenario next week another official tournament will start simultaneously. The European championship will start from Friday and will last for one full month. UEFA has decided to 'refresh' the event so it added eight more teams to the event - from 16 to 24. Will this expansion will have (some positive) effect on its play or not, will it be wise decision, will there be a better and quality football...for all these answers we have to wait and see throughout the games. For the first time five new teams will debut at the European championship. The fifteenth edition of the EURO 2016 will be played across ten cities in France with the final game taking place on 10 July in Paris. The winner will represent Europe at next year's Confederations Cup in Russia.
