Out of scheduled 10 games, 9 will finish today from the penultimate round in African qualifiers. And after this round around 20.00 CET we will find out which (new) teams will be step closer for the finals.
- Mauritius - Ghana at 13.00 CET. Already qualified Ghana this year is struggling to get good results. On the other hand Mauritius has bad goal difference in the group and can
surprise the favorites with their first draw in this campaign.
- Madagascar - DR Congo at 13.30 CET. Winless Madagascar has drawn both games at
home. But DR Congo want this victory more than ever because Central African Republic
are breathing down their neck for that top spot. It may be another surprise here as
bottom teams are causing much trouble for the leaders. But DR Congo will look confident with another win.
- Kenya - Congo at 14.00 CET. In a chase for that top spot Congo need to add new 3 points. But in recent form the team is not that impresive. Stuck to the bottom of group E,
Kenya is now playing for pride and another stalemate might be in place.

- Comoros - Burkina Faso at 14.00 CET. Burkina Faso has an excellent chance to keep up
the pressure with Uganda. But lately they are not out of form just like their hosts.

Another draw is out of the question for the visitors so they will be comfortable with
minimal victory.
- Lesotho - Ethiopia at 15.00 CET. Lesotho’s good form lately can move them up from
the bottom in group J. They will play an Ethiopia side who are perfoming awfully from
home. Lesotho will aim for a second win.
- Swaziland - Guinea at 15.00 CET. Both teams are in good position to chalenge
Zimbabwe for that first place. Their form in 2016 is a little bit mixed so this game come
at the worst possible time for both. However Giunea is considered to take the game by
one goal difference.
- Zimbabwe - Malawi at 15.00 CET. And in continuation with the previous game, first
place Zimbabwe welcomes Malawi. Malawi’s form is very poor at the moment, so with
today’s win the hosts will be step closer to Gabon.
- Central African Republic - Angola at 16.00 CET. Central African Republic is in a good
chance to qualify for Gabon as today’s win against Angola will only strengthen their
position. They are playing excellent at home, so they should a victory against Angola who
is playing awful at these qualifiers.
- Benin- Equatorial Guinea was supposed to play at 17.00 CET, but CAF decided to postpone it until next Sunday, 12 June.
- Liberia - Togo at 18.00 CET. Out from these two Liberia has better chance to progress
through to the finals. Their home form in these qualifiers is on a maximum with no goals received from two games On the other hand, Togo's good form suddenly is down and it would be very difficult to play against motivated Liberia side who would not miss this opportunity to write new 3 points.
