Benin allowed to participate...for now

Last month they were thrown out from world football because of an government interference over election process at the FA and only yesterday they were cleared to continue with its qualifiers. Benin is in a good position to go to the finals in Gabon and this ban was lifted conditionally. The deal is that the crucial African Cup of Nation qualifier, which was scheduled to be played on Sunday at 17.00 CET was postponed until 12 June, only if Benin hold an election until 11 June. If this will not be the case then the African Cup of Nations organizing committee will make a final decision.
