EURO 2016 threats

Supporters for the Copa America Centenario with great pleasure will rush onto the stadiums to watch the best footballers in the world. On the other hand, European fans will not get that chance of seeing their favorite players in live action - but only on TV.
Almost simultaneously, when the historic and most exciting, thrilling Copa America tournament will start, over in Europe the 2016 European Championship may be playing for the first time without public. UEFA is seriously considering this option after the well known terrorist attack in 11 November in Paris that left 130 people dead. Besides empty stadiums, games may be moved from town to town in order not to happen same attacks on major level. That will happen if there will be any threats of terrorist attack, said by the UEFA tournament director Martin Kallen. 'It is possible that matches would be postponed or played later due to security reasons or terror attacks. If there is a security issue, we would need to play the match without fans. If you have to move a lot of spectators, they may not have time to go to the match' he explained. After that fatal attack last year the emergency was recently extended until 26 May - just two weeks before the start of the competition. According to the UEFA officials the organization to the event will be real logistical undertaking and checking everyone who will go into the stadium be rigorous.
The continental championship will last 32 days, out of which 24 nations will play 51 games across 10 stadiums in France for exactly 1 month - from 10 June until 10 July.
