Neymar Jr. guilty

On Friday Rio de Janeiro federal court pronounced Neymar Jr. guilty of tax fraud. According to the Brazilian paper 'Folha de S. Paulo' Barcelona and Nike has to pay a fine of 188.8 million reals (45.2 million euros) for failure to report earnings from his contract with Santos. Between 2012 and 2014 Neymar Jr. through various companies avoided paying taxes of 56.4 million euros, according to the court documents. Last year the court froze assets of the Brazilian international at amount of 189 million reals (42 million euros).
The Barcelona star is also under investigation in Spain for his Santos transfer to Barcelona in 2013.
