Platini remains UEFA president

Despite being suspended for 6 years from any football activities, disgraced Michel Platini stays UEFA president. Until the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) reach its decision the Frenchman remains chief of the European football governing body. UEFA just confirmed its decision from January of not organizing elections for new president. That was 'unanimously' decided, said the new general secretary, 50 year old Theodore Theodoridis.
CAS has revealed this week that Platini has filed complaint against his ban and the final decision will be announced before the start of the European Championship this summer.
