At 19.00 CET are scheduled the following:
- Basel - Sevilla. Their last European game ended up in surprise defeat from Molde as the current champions, Sevilla are not playing well at the moment as visitors. On the other hand Basel is more confident at home, but here they oppose a tough rival who will do everything to remain undefeated.
- Fenerbahce - Braga. In this first ever meeting between these two teams Fenerbahce would like to have good, solid advantage before their tricky return leg to Portugal. The visitors will try to stall the game but the Turkish side is favorite to win.
- Shakhtar Donetsk - Anderlecht. The Ukrainians will be desperate enough winning this game against the surprise team from Belgium. Maybe the easiest opponent of all 8 teams, Shakhtar will not miss the opportunity to score plenty of goals in the game.
These next games are starting from 21.05 CET:
- Athletic Bilbao - Valencia. First Spanish derby at the competition promising to be a very tough game as none of the two teams have advantage of anything. They know each other pretty well, playing lots of times, knows opponent's weaknesses. Athletic is considered to win this game but the recent Valencia good form may prove that this game will be very open. Still a draw is fair to everyone.
- Sparta Prague - Lazio. Another tough game where may be a goal difference will settle the game. However the Czechs are more close to victory as Lazio's visiting games are only draws.
- Villarreal - Bayer Leverkusen. Germans are known very well as no quitters even if they play away. But knowing the strength of Villarreal we are expecting another tough game with a home victory.
