Caribbean Cup qualifications underway

Together with the 3 FIFA qualifying regions and the qualifiers from the African Cup of Nation, one other CONCACAF qualifying competition got underway as well this morning.
With only 3 matches old, this qualifying Caribbean Cup 2016 have to determine which Caribbean nations will compete in the 2017 edition out of which high-ranking teams will enter the competition. The top four nations qualifies directly to the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup while the fifth plays a play-off game with the fifth placed nation from the Copa Centroamericana tournament to determine the final berth at the 2017 Gold Cup edition.
At this first qualifying round 21 lowest ranking teams entered the competition. Divided into 7 groups, just before the tournament began this March Saint Martin was set to participate but withdrew at the last minute. That is how we left with 20 teams. Each groups have 3 teams, except group 6 where there are only two teams that have qualified already for the second round. In its first participation since 1997 Sint Maarten is a returnee into this tournament. The top two teams qualifies for the second round. As the competition got underway this morning, it continues on 24 March:
