Speedy Rodriguez fined

Because he did not stop on police request, when they were chasing him, now he is fined. In the first days of 2016 James Rodriguez was going to training, and in order to get there, he was speeding up to 200km/h, which was doubled from the speed limit. As he failed to stop now he will have to pay certain amount of euros and the fine is yet to be announced.
Maybe he overslept from the New Year's party, but this incident happened on first of January as he was driving his Audi R8 on the M-40 highway near Madrid. Police officers in an unmarked car caught the Real Madrid player how he was speeding and several times they ordered him to stop. As he 'failed' to respond the police followed him all the way to the training. After all that chasing throughout the streets of Madrid, Rodriguez told the officers at the end that he was afraid of being kidnapped. These scenes are very often in his native Colombia, but very rare in Spain. Because of the loud music he did not even hear the sirens.
The 24 year old now has 15 days to appeal the sentence, but if he pays in the next two weeks Rodriguez will pay half from the prescribed amount of 5.200 euros. His salary in Real Madrid is 7.6 million euros per year.
