Final games from the second round

Last games from the second round are promising to give us many entertainment. Most groups are already decided, but some nations like to clinch their place into the next stage by 'catching the last train'. The program for the 14 games looks like this:

- Australia - Jordan. Jordan can be very proud of themselves as they are the only team who beat Australia in the group stage. The Aussies are playing excellent at these qualifiers and with a victory it will qualify them directly into the next round. It should be a new three points for the home team with a little fight back from second place Jordan.
- Afghanistan - Singapore. Tough game to predict as both teams are playing excellent football. It is one of those games without a meaning Afghanistan has to approach it with big caution as Singapore is very dangerous as visitors. They can steal it away but we will call it a draw.
- Japan - Syria. After their last win on Thursday, Japan is looking very confident. On many occasions they have beaten Syria who is playing some excellent football. Both of them have already qualified. We just can sit back and watch how Japan is writing another three points on their account.
- Philippines - North Korea. The hosts are having hard times of beating someone at home. As North Korea is concerned they do want to extend this winless streak and, as already qualified, write new three points.
- Lebanon - Myanmar. With Kuwait out of the way, Lebanon regained second spot in the table. And to confirm that position today they are playing up against Myanmar side who is achieving some dreadful results.
- PR China - Qatar. First so called derby of the day. As Qatar did China a big favor by beating their closest rivals Hong Kong last Thursday, the hosts are looking very confident at home who have 16:0 goal difference. On the other hand Qatar has not lost a single game in this campaign so it should be an exciting and thrilling match. Many think of a draw, but we are seeing China as winners.
- India - Turkmenistan. Turkmenistan at the moment is having hard time adopting anywhere as visitors as they are losing every game. We have all three possible outcomes when meetings between these two occur but today we are calling it India's victory.
- Tajikistan - Kyrgyzstan. Anyone can take this game as both teams are having some mix results at the moment. Realistically this could end up in a draw but Kyrgyzstan is in a slight advantage stealing the away win.
- Uzbekistan - Bahrain. On their side's previous meeting so far we were having only draws with no victory for any team. But looking at the current form Uzbekistan can seal the win they needed badly to stay number one in the group.
- Iraq - Vietnam. Match of staying at number two position. Too many draws from Iraq in this campaign affect them as they need to write victory here opposing to a Vietnam side who will do everything in their power of winning and hoping the news from the other games. However Iraq should win this match.
- Palestine - Timor-Leste. To close this campaign Palestine will play the easiest opponent from the group. The first game Timor-Leste drew the match at 1:1 with Palestine. Things now are changed and, as they are playing, the hosts should write another win.
- IR Iran - Oman. Already qualified, both teams can win this game. Iran is in a slide advantage of sealing the match but based on their previous meetings most of them are draws so we believe another one is coming on the way.
- United Arab Emirates - Saudi Arabia. Another derby from today's games. The top two clash will have to give us some entertaining game. The goal differnce tells us some stonishing result from both teams: UAE with 20:0 as hosts and Saudi Arabia as 13:0 as visitors, just proves that we are going to expect a tough game. UAE wants to retaliate their loss from the first game but still we see Saudi Arabian team as favorites.
- Maldives - Bhutan. Last placed teams clash in the last leg of the second round. Both of them have lost their chance of qualifying long time ago and both are playing some dreadful football. However, Maldives are big favorites for the match and should record a easy win.
