Former captain quits 'Super Eagles'

Sunday Oliseh said on Friday that he quit the coaching job of Nigeria. On his Twitter account he wrote that he is 'resigning from the Super Eagles chief coach due to lack of support'. Ex-Nigeria captain accused the national FA of 'contract violations'  including failing to pay him his salaries. Recently Oliseh was in dispute with the Nigerian FA and was fined because of the team's poor performance at the African Nations Championship in Rwanda for failing to progress past the group stage earlier this month. That incident was a fuse for him that he came with today's decision, adding the unpaid wages to the story. His predecessor Stephen Keshi experienced similar problems with the salary when he was in charge with the national team.
Oliseh departed before two important African Cup of Nations qualifying games against Egypt next month.
