New Everton owner

Liverpool based club Everton on Saturday announced that it will have new owner. Should the Premier League approve and after a long search for new investment, British-Iranian billionaire Farhad Moshiri will have 49.9% share. With over 200 million pounds (253.5 million euros) Everton were in talks with an American consortium John Jay Moores and his partner Charles Noell, but obviously Moshiri was the right choice to steal their deal. The main factor of the deal was that the 70 year old chairman Bill Kenwright will still remain in the position of power at the club, which his friend Moshiri accepted that.
The Iranian has promised new investment in the Merseyside club.
