Meldonium again the guilty party?

Tennis star Maria Sharapova admitted that she took the drug by mistake during the Australian Open but nowadays one entire team may fail because of it. Meldonium - the Latvian made drug, was being banned from beginning of this year by the World Anti Doping Agency. FIFA's doping control turned up unannounced at FC Rostov collecting samples which all 11 players are under suspicion of using meldonium. The drug is mostly used as a supplement in the eastern European countries.'We tested the entire team, the 11 who were on the start list' said FIFA medical chief Jiri Dvorak. All of them were tested on Thursday, after they defeated Dinamo Moscow 3:1 away.
One of the biggest surprise in the Russian Premier League the Rostov-on-Don side barely survived last year to stay in the top elite through play-off while this season fights for the championship.
