Problems regarding 'Kosovo'

FIFA has put UEFA on very serious problem. After admitting as a fifty-fifth UEFA member no one even realized that 'the new state' would cause so much trouble from now on.
- Club competitions. For next season the European organization has decided to give 'the newly accepted state' access for the cup competitions. This means that champions Feronikeli will start from the first qualifying round while for the domestic cup competition winner is going to go into the first qualifying round in the Europa league. Its FA hoped that will get three clubs representing 'the country', but it seems that second placed Hajvalia team will be empty handed. But in order to take part in both competitions the clubs have to have licensing standards first, which includes stadium safety, transport, medical facilities and communications. Deadline of acceptance is 31 May.
- National team. On Wednesday UEFA has postponed the decision of placing 'Kosovo' into the European qualifiers for the next World Cup in Russia on indefinite time. One of the main problem are the countries who do not recognize Kosovo as an independent state. As there are only two five group teams for the European qualifiers, the new comers has to enter in one of them. From one side there is group H where Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece and Cyprus do not recognize Kosovo as an independent state, while from group I - Ukraine is the only country who is refusing to accept the Serbian province as a state. To complicate further more the players are another major issue as most of them are playing for Switzerland and Albania. While FIFA is going to make an exception allowing players to switch nationality (so quickly), UEFA oppose the matter. That is why the European football organization has formed a special commission to deal with these questions by reviewing them closely.
