First Qatar player in Primera Division

Teenager Akram Afif has become first player from Qatar to play in La Liga. The 19 year old striker signed with Villarreal who much probably we will see him in action in next season's Champions League. Afif has been on loan since 2015 where he played for Belgium's second division side - Eupen scoring six goals from 16 games. He also spent some times in Villarreal and Sevilla's youth schools.
'I also hope more players from Qatar can play in Europe in order to learn a lot of things before the World Cup', said this teenager where his country invests a lot of money in order to become successful before its supporters in its first Gulf World Cup in 2022.
