New UEFA president this fall

UEFA has been without president since the scandal broke out with Michel Platini and after the hearing in Lausanne's highest sporting court the Frenchman resigned from the post. Now there is an empty seat leading the organization and until the right man will be found vice president Angel Maria Villar will be interim president. However, the organization confirmed today that new European boss will be elected on 14 September at the extraordinary UEFA congress in Athens, Greece. So 55 member associations will vote for the next president, which so far 3 officials have shown interest for the job: acting UEFA president Angel Maria Villar together with presidents of Slovenia and Netherlands FAs - Aleksander Ceferin and Michael van Praag.
On this date the congress will also elect European female member for the FIFA council.
