Tensions in FIFA ends up with audit's resignation

After the first FIFA congress for the new president Gianni Infantino comes the first resignation. Domenico Scala, who believes the new FIFA council took the ability to audit independently, quits today from his post as audit chief. Fifty-one year old Scala is furious over the governance changes reforms where the council will be able to appoint and fire those in charge in finance, auditing and ethics. The world football organization immediately accepted Scala's resignation and appoint his deputy Sindi Mabaso Koyana as acting chairman.
On its closing day at the sixty-sixth congress in Mexico City, Infantino said that corruption days are finished. But is it really over - only time will tell.
