Extra protection from above

It is no news, specially after the deadly terrorist attacks in Paris and Brussels, that over ten stadiums this summer at the European championship the sky will be a no fly zone. And any 'strange' crafts will be intercepted from the anti-drone technology. These mini-unmanned crafts and miracle of the technology in this century i.e. drones definitely posing a threat. That is why tournament's security chief Ziad Khoury is introducing this new technology as a "dissuasive measure that didn't exist at previous sports events". He also added that 'the idea is not to destroy the drones, because there could be collateral damage, notably if they crashed into the public. It is to prevent them from flying over the stadiums and perhaps to arrest their pilots'.
In previous months French authorities have simulated various security exercises, among that chemical or biological attack from drones.
