Violence in Brazil

Chaos erupts at the match of the Alagoas state championship between Centro Sportivo Alagoano (CSA) and Clube de Regatas Brasil (CRB). At the closing minutes of the game massive and merciless fight broke out between the two rival supporters at the Rei Pele stadium. Local media reported that five people were taken to hospital with two of them being in critical conditions. Broadcast live on television showed a visiting supporter being kicked unconscious on the ground surrounded by ten hooligans around him, treated by medical in the penalty area before being rushed with an ambulance to hospital. The other three sustained minor injuries.
CRB only wanted to celebrate the title over their bitter rivals CSA away from home, by winning their second game as well. Which they did and with that they won the championship.
