Countdown to the two biggest tournaments this summer

Last Tuesday, 03 May LT / 04 May CET began one month countdown of the most oldest tournament in the world - the Copa America Centenaro. From two confederations, in this anniversary competition 16 teams will participate playing 32 games in 10 cities. And for the first time in its 100 year old history Copa America will be played outside South American continent - United States of America will welcome the biggest teams from that region. Centenario fever began at the beginning of the year, exactly on 08 January, as Haiti and Panama through play-off games became the last two teams to join the celebration. We are expecting a great 23 days tournament, with lots of goals, good technique skills, more running with lots and lots of football stars. The winner of Copa America Centenario will not participate in FIFA 2017 Confederations Cup in Russia, as that right already belonged to Chile by winning the 2015 edition.
While today, this Tuesday, European continent marks exactly 31 days towards EURO 2016 in France. For the first this competition is expanded by eight teams - from 16 to 24. In the new format there will be six groups of four teams each. After that follows the closing stages which begins with last 16 and all the way through the final - 10 July in Paris. We are sure that five debutants are really excited to participate in this fifteenth festivity EURO edition - Albania, Iceland, Northern Ireland, Slovakia and Wales. The winner will take part in the FIFA Confederations Cup next June in Russia.
