FIFA sanctioned Kuwait

FIFA disciplinary committee penalized Kuwait over an unplayed match from the qualifying competition for the 2018 World Cup in Russia. Group G game from the Asian zone qualifiers between Myanmar and Kuwait scheduled for 17 November 2015 did not take place. Therefore the disciplinary committee decided to forfeit the game and fine Kuwait with 10.000 Swiss francs (9.170 euros).
