Life bans from football

Current UEFA president Michel Platini and his FIFA counterpart Sepp Blatter could be in further trouble.
FIFA's ethic committee want to impose lifetime bans for these two powerful gentleman who will appeal against its own sentences in a bid to increase them. The Frenchman and Swiss last month have earned 8-year ban after FIFA (Blatter) made a disloyal payment to Platini back in 2011 by breaching its own ethic code. After hearing all the appeals from the committee, the cases would go to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) who will then say the final word in this matter. Of course these two high officials deny any wrongdoing who also have appealed against their suspensions.
Platini was one of the favorites succeeding Blatter at next month FIFA elections.
