Defaced statue

Cristiano Ronaldo do not feel safe even at home. In his native town of Funchal, Madeira in Portugal Messi fans have vandalized Real Madrid's striker statue. Smeared with red paint on his back was written Messi with his shirt number (10). Portuguese and Spanish media reported that this act happened early Tuesday just after the Argentinian won Ballon d'Or prize for the record fifth time, stripping Ronaldo of his hat-trick. There were also reports that the statue was cleaned by the end of the day and that officials are searching for the vandals.
Katia Aveiro, Ronaldo's sister, is outraged by this act of vandalism adding that 'frustrated savages deserved to live in Syria'. The unknown vandals had better hope that the police find them first before the Aveiro crew does. If Katia is willing to exile them in this war-torn country in public who knows what kind of punishments she would do (in private). Also when these two players will meet, we do not even want to think what will happen on the pitch when El Classico will be played 03 April in Barcelona.
Statue was unveiled in 2014 with the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo himself and his relatives.
