More statistics from CIES

The International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) from Neuchatel, Switzerland gave us more football research from 2015. CIES Football Observatory compared 50 national teams worldwide taken into account their age, height, employer clubs and places of birth.
After all calculations it led to the fact that England in 2015 fielded youngest players among other European nations with 25.6 years. If it continue like this, a promising future lies ahead from the English national team.
The analysis on height shows that the average full international is 181.9cm. Serbia have fielded tallest players and with just 10cm was greater that of the country who played with shortest footballers. For example Chile last year had 185.6 compared to 175.6. Looking at this statistic it did not stop them winning the Copa America though.
Clubs employing internationals is concentrated better among the wealthiest leagues. It shows that 68.9% of minutes were played by footballers under contract with foreign clubs. England is the only team that did not field footballers playing abroad.
Research also showed that in 2015, 11.3%  of national A team footballers were born outside of the association represented. Albania and Algeria are the only 2 counties who heavily are relying on players born abroad. Most of them born in France, Algeria have fielded 21 players against 17 foreign-born footballers from the Albania side.
