'Suspend Serie A'

Just day after the tax evasion scam was revealed, Italian businessman and Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini wants Serie A to be suspended. He is also one of a number of directors, officials, players and agents to be named as suspects in a large tax irregularities. In total, 35 teams from both leagues, 58 people and more than 100 other individuals are questioned over the biggest tax evasion scam in Italy revealed in 'fuorigioco' (offside) TV show. Responded in rage (we assume probably why he is on the list as well), Zamparini calling the inquiry a 'disgrace' by saying that he will ask the other 19 Serie A presidents to suspend the season. Among other things he added that 'this is not justice, but cinema - an investigation that is based on nothing' to Italian daily newspaper 'La Repubblica'.
Is it really 'nothing' or 'something' in Italian football only time will tell.
