English language media rights awarded for Copa America Special

We know that Univision Deportes channel is holding the Spanish language rights holder to the event. But earlier today, the English language rights belonged to Fox Sports. After months of negotiations this channel secured to televise the oldest international football tournament in the world. For the first time played outside South American continent 32 games across 10 venues in USA, Fox Sports will broadcast this event on its two sports channels: FS1 and FS2. In addition this media house expects to offer pregame, postgame and complimentary programming over the month long tournament. All games should be available on its authenticated streaming services Fox Sports Go, Fox Sports 2Go and on desktops. Fox network was close to cutting the deal for the event last year as the FIFA scandal broke, causing Fox to walk away from the negotiating table. The thrilling and exciting 2016 Copa America Centenario competition, with plenty of football stars will be played from 03-26 June.
