New ban from FIFA

Working in FIFA's ethical committee is never boring. Almost everyday from them arrives some new 'pretty exciting' news. On corruption charges of course. After that from the victims, understandably, we are expecting words such as 'I am not guilty...did not know anything about it...', denials, further courts to clear our reputations (names)...
On the wall this time is another French man, Jerome Valcke. Unlike his country man (coincidence or not) Michel Platini and Swiss football administrator Sepp Blatter, 'poor' Valcke is next on the 'bad boys' list. Unlike the 'non loyal payment' from the above two mentioned UEFA and FIFA presidents, 55 year old French man is included in the scheme of profiting from the sale of World Cup tickets. In addition, besides that he is also facing charges or bribery. Accusing of having participating in the bribery worth 10 million dollars from former CONCACAF president, Jack Warner, in return for his vote and backing South Africa's successful bid to host the 2010 World Cup event. That time Valcke was working as a marketing director and TV sectors in FIFA which he later, left the post in 2006 after a scandal in connection of long-term sponsor with Mastercard. As this was not enough for this 'bad boy', he was then caught how he negotiated with Mastercards' hot rivals Visa wherewith he breached the agreement which costed FIFA 90 million dollars. Year later (2007) he was appointed by Blatter as general secretary. Like his recently mentioned associates, he also denies any wrongdoing.
FIFA's ethic committee provisionally suspended Valcke from any football activities on 8 October for 90 days and on Tuesday, the day when the ban expires, the organization also recommend extension for further 45 days. Prosecutors accuse him of violating general rules of conduct and accepting gifts and other benefits. Investigators also called to pay a fine of 100.000 Swiss francs (92.000 euros). Besides financially, they also want a 9 year ban from any football activities.
Surely busy days at the organizations ethical committee who might pull some new 'surprising' names before the election day who is getting nearer and nearer.
