FIFA transfer ban for two Madrid clubs

After Barcelona's suspension in April 2014, FIFA has banned another 2 Spanish clubs for the same reason. Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid violated and have breached Article 19 which covers protection of minors. Because of that the 'corrupt FIFA organization' banned them for registering new players for the next two transfer windows. However, the ban does not apply for the current transfer window which means that Madrid clubs can bring new players until 31 January. This ban has to end until after 2016/17 season. The investigation covered minors which have competed in competitions for Atletico from 2007 to 2014 and Real Madrid between 2005 and 2014. Beside bans both clubs are also hit financially: Atletico has been fined 900.000 Swiss francs (822.600 euros) while Real has to pay 360.000 Swiss francs (329.000 euros). Apart from that FIFA gave 90 days to regularise the situation of all minors in the clubs.
On Thursday Atletico Madrid has said that they will appeal the ban.
